Nothing subtle here ideurr-wise this week. Never been to the Fancy Motel- doesn't look to cozy/inviting/hygienic- but always liked these places visually, not just for colors and textures, but also for the feel, vacant?
Fantastic! I love the approaching car. I imagine it's a couple who's not supposed to be meeting here. They'll have a coupla drinks in the lounge that smells like stale beer before going to their fleabag room. She'll get a rip in her fishnet stockings and have some 'splainin' to do when she gets home. None of it will be worth it either. She still has that vacant feeling right in the pit of her stomach. (I hope you had that film-noir music going thru your head as you read this!)
Great effect. i've always liked the look of the road side motel signs myself. i've taken many a picture of them over the years. This is a very moody piece, well done.
Whoa!! stopped back tonight and saw his (your?) reflection. How could I have missed it the first time? I don't know whether to be frightened by a stranger or comforted by a friend. I think I'll choose the latter.

What an eerie piece. So much going on behind the scenes. You truly capture a vacant sense. Love lolo's story to go with. Great work, Andy!
An updated Hopperesque feel to this one.
I have been visiting London for a week, the museums are utterly astonishing. The National Gallery in particular has glorious stuff.
Regards, neil
