Breezy

Great memories of breezy times. Always have loved a good snow storm- may not look peaceful, but is for me at least, and at the same time, energizing- really fun- and wakes me up. Good to get a break from things every once in a while; in storms like this, things are so quiet, not many creatures are out or aware of each other- there's rarely any crime, battles, business, or anything going on- everything but the weather stops- you can be out in the world, but insulated from it. Plus, it's so cozy and warm when finally back indoors.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of Winter! Just stay off the highways if it storms.

this is a subtle and beautiful piece that reminds me of Rauchenberg's transfer drawings for Dante's Inferno.

Having said that I went to check some of them on the web with intent to send you a link. On reflection they give me the same feeling but they are nothing alike.
Regards,
Neil

This brings me right back to the blizzard of 78 when I lived in Massachusetts! It was wild and unbelievable. They had to airlift plows in because the highways were gridlocked. Some people even froze to death in their cars because they got buried. I lost a dear kitty in that storm. I think none of us believed the weatherman when he said this will be a storm you'll never forget!

I do love coming in from the cold though and having soup or cocoa...or a drink!
Good times Andy, and beautifully portrayed ;)

Nice composition and well done! You captured the feel of being enveloped in the quite embrace of snow. I am enjoying the waning winter... we have daffodils up!

Brrrrrrr. A breeze times ten!

I like the figure barely seen, and I feel quite anonymous in heavy, blowing snow, just like when it's very foggy.
