Beautiful work! The darkness of this illustration shows - at least to me - both the festive and the dark sides of holiday cheer. Sometimes it's fun, but with too much, it can be decidedly un-fun! Anyway I hope your holiday is of the fun and safe variety:)

Nice atmosphere, can really hear them all getting rowdy.
I agree about the darkness of the painting. It gives it a different mood altogether, kind of the "after party" effect. Really nice. Is that you dancing on the table? Choosing a designated artist...clever!
Today around the world there will most likely be lots of the "hair of the dog" going around, perhaps starting here ;)

Beautiful piece!... and I like the fellow dancing on the table. Our New Year celebrations have been quite a bit more restrained. Have a happy 2009.
